From Peter’s Desk: 2020, Again

Although I’m much more a NHL than NFL fan, it’s hard to avoid the hype of the Super Bowl. The 2024 contenders were decided this past Sunday: the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. Suffice it to say, the matchup is not the most compelling option among the possible outcomes. Many, in fact, have expressed a “ho hum” sentiment about the upcoming game.

In truth, “been there, done that” is the more accurate expression. You see, with the Chiefs and 49ers, Americans are being served up a repeat of the 2020 Super Bowl.

The significance of two uninspiring challengers vying for the nation’s highest honor in 2024 after doing so four years ago likely is lost on no one reading this message. But it is reality nonetheless! It seems inevitable that a presidential rematch will be reality too, and will probably draw even more disfavor than the Super Bowl. Out of 330 million American citizens, the major political parties will nominate, yet again, Joe Biden and Donald Trump as the best they have to offer.

Lauren and I are committed to providing you an alternative to “bad” and “worse.” We want you to have the option to cast your vote for a party and candidates that represent your views. This is the Year of the Third Party. This is the Year of the American Solidarity Party!

Please join the #SonskiOnak bandwagon and help us to obtain ballot access as widely as possible. Please donate and volunteer to support our campaign. Please shout the ASP message from the rooftops!

If the Democrats and Republicans provide a reprise of the 2020 election, let’s give voters reason and opportunity to vote ASP!
